Two-days activity to the Lakkos of Mygeros in Psiloritis, where a seminar will be held on the correct use of winter mountaineering equipment (ice axe-crampons) to move safely in the snowy field.
The seminar is aimed at those who want to learn or remember the basics of winter mountaineering, the basic theories (selection and use of mountaineering equipment) and technical knowledge (moving in the snow with an ice axe and crampons) will be taught, so that we can move safely in the snowy field.
The necessary equipment, ice axe, crampons and helmet, will be borrowed from the Club and the instructor will be Mr. Evangelos Stavroulakis, Assistant Mountaineering Instructor of the Hellenic Mountaineering Association.
The cost of travel, meals and accommodation is borne by each participant individually.
