One day hiking to the northern foothills of Mount Kouloukounas in the prefecture of Rethymno, where after an uphill path we will reach the Monastery of Vossakou (300 m). Then following a dirt road we will end up at the Monastery of Chalepa (450 m).
A beautiful route that passes by two picturesque and renovated monasteries in the east of the prefecture of Rethymno. Hiking hours 6-6.5.
