One day easy walking activity to the southeastern Lefka Ori in easy paths in the green area with splendid forests around Agios Ioannis in the province of Sfakia.
Route: The hiking will start from the village square of Agios Ioannis Sfakion and is at the beginning downhill on a prominent path, then it will be slightly uphill until the imposing cave of Korkokopo. Participants in the excursion will experience this green area with splendid forests and enjoy spring nature with lush vegetation at the root of the Madara, amidst large perennial pines and cypress trees. Participants must be in good physical condition, wear a mountaineering shoe (bootleg) and have a mountaineering baton, a windproof waterproof jacket and warm clothes, hat, food and water.
