One-day hiking trip to the neighboring prefecture of Rethymno, to enjoy the view from the picturesque chapel of Prophet Elias.

Route: The participants will start from the beautiful mountain village of Myriokefala in Rethymno which is located at an altitude of 615 m. and they will follow an uphill course on old cobblestones and a narrow path to the mountain church of Prophet Ilias which dominates at an altitude of 1,080 m. Then they will descend the Path of Heroes to return to Myriokefala.
