One-day mountaineering activity where participants will make a winter ascent to this beautiful summit of the White Mountains which has a magnificent view of the Samaria Gorge.

Route: The ascent will start from Xiloskalo to the Omalos Plateau, at an altitude of about 1,250 meters, from where the participants will follow the snowy uphill trail. climb the Little Ridge and pass the Kallergi Shelter. Then if the weather permits and the snow quality will allow, they will continue to climb Psari peak, where they will overlook the Samaria Gorge and the high peaks of the White Mountains. Those who have a very good physical condition and experience in snow driving, and therefore have the knowledge of using winter mountaineering equipment can take part in this excursion. Participants must wear a hiking boot (hiking boot) with gaiters and carry a hiking stick, waterproof jacket and warm clothing, gloves and hats, a hat, snacks and water.

The activities described in the term "winter climbing / crossing etc." ONLY apply to members with experience in snow movement, and therefore knowledge of using winter mountaineering equipment.
